Ad-Lib Ensemble
Ad-Lib is a collective of classical musicians passionate about improvising, storytelling and cross-art collaboration. Formed at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, they have all studied improvisation with Prof. David Dolan. The current line-up is Chloé Lam (soprano), Lindsey Fillingham (flute), Heather Ryall (clarinet) and Jonathan Jarvis (piano). Between them, they have performed at the Royal Albert Hall, The Sage Gateshead, Bridgewater Hall, Milton Court and been broadcast on BBC radio and TV, with performances as far afield as Hong Kong and South Africa. Based in London, Ad-Lib has appeared at Culture Mile’s Open Fest 2018, the Barbican Children’s Library, RNCM Hub for Artistic Research in Performance, as well as giving recitals at City Literary Institute and Fonthill Care Home.
